10 Worst Fashion Trends of 2010

At the time, these items seemed like a cool idea. Then you start digging through your closet or looking at old photos and think to yourself, �Oh my gawd, why did I buy that?� Ring a bell? Yup, those cringe-worthy items and some of their inspirations, like Snooki, are listed here.

Read on and try to remember exactly why you bought them in the first place.

1. Trucker caps

Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher wore them and looked kinda cute in them. That was about it.

2. Silly Bandz

Rubber bands designed to look like guitars, animals and even Justin Bieber caused a frenzy not only with school kids, but celebs. Even Sarah Jessica Parker was caught wearing them on TV. Now they�ve gone the way of the pet rock. Ask yourself, did you really need to punch out that 12-year-old to get the last bag of Princess Silly Bandz?

3. Leggings

How do I loathe these? Let me count the ways. I don�t care that Miuccia Prada resurrected them like vampires. Most women like to wear them with a crop top instead of a tunic. Honey, no one needs to see your lady parts.

4. Harem pants

MC Hammer looked great in them in a music video in the '80s. That was the only time they ever looked good.

5. Animal head hats

Wonderful only on a 5-year-old. Not even a Kardashian can pull it off.

6. Crocs

Dayglo plastic shoes don�t go with anything. Just stick them in the microwave and watch them shrink.

7. Ed Hardy

Skulls with the phrase �Love Kills� emblazoned on them quickly became the symbol for Jon Gosselin.

8. Over-tanning

Thank you oh cast of The Jersey Shore for creating a new skin tone, whilst accelerating premature aging and promoting skin cancer. 9. Shutter Glasses

Kanye West, here�s one more thing to be angry about: This photo.

10. Butt slogan pants

Great for teaching babies how to read, or for creating anagrams

2010 Mazda MX-5 MIATA pictures

For amusement, it is no picnic to overpower the 2010 Mazda Miata. With its tight guiding and condensed fling shifter, the auto is a driver's dream, and it had us giggling maniacally as we slung it down each curvy road we would be able to observe.

Anyhow Miata fans will howl at this survey, as the Miata's tech, from lodge to under the hood, is just middle. Our Grand Touring trim auto was about tantamount to it works toward getting, fitted with Bose sound and a Bluetooth phone framework.

2010 BMW 3 Series Convertible Future models

The next full revision of the 3 Series is expected in for the 2012 model year, and will feature improved aerodynamics, lightweight materials and the option of smaller displacement engines. A hybrid version is still under consideration.

Porsche Rally 2010

This past Sunday, I was invited to take part in the annual rally organized by Porsche of Halifax.

It was another well-prepared and well-attended event, featuring Boxsters, Caymans, Cayennes, Turbos, Carrera 4Ss, Carreras, and the Panamera, about 25 Porsches in all.

We all gathered at Point Pleasant Park, and after a short rally briefing, we were on our way out of town towards the Annapolis Valley. To get there, we took the more interesting and curvy Highway No.1, a perfect road for the Porsches. I was navigating in a very sweet dark blue Carrera 4S Cabriolet ...

We made a pit stop in picturesque Wolfville, continuing on through Port Williams to the famous Look-Off. The normally stunning view was hindered by fog, but it is still a great place to stop and stretch.

Starting off again, we snaked our way west, downwards towards the coast, our final destination being Halls Harbour.

The event wrapped up in the picturesque little lobster village, where you can witness the famous Bay of Fundy tides, the highest in the world.

After a tour of the lobster pound, our lunch was booked in at the Hall's Harbour Lobster Pound Restaurant. We had a wonderful meal there, and we had time to meet new faces and chat.

I have to thank organizer and MC Steve Archibald for inviting me to such a fun and well-organized rally and his team, Kathy, Mary-Jane, Jeff, Chris and Kendall for looking after everything, with special thanks to Chris and Kendall for getting me there and back in such class.
