Using my old pc for now, as im still waiting for the new graphic card to arrive.

Attached the shifter today,
and cut out the sidewalls.

After spending quite some time finding the ideal position now the wheel and the pedal mount got attached.



The wheel lies on some cut out pieces of rubber in order to have the right angle.
Very simple solution but work just perfectly.


Next step will be mounting the Shifter.

Can�t wait until the missing PC parts and the TV arrives :)

Started the assembling today.
Still a lot of work to do..

Today some new parts arrived
Power supply (800 watt), fans and RAM.


Also finished cutting the shelves


Next step will be screwing everything together.

Project "new racing rig" part 1

Allright,
so i decided to build a new racing rig.
I will try and blog about the progress as much as i can.

Some of the components that will be used:
new pc (i7 950 @ 3.06 Ghz, 6 GB RAM, GTX460 2gb vram)
40" tv (Samsung LE40B650)
G25 wheel and pedals
Leather seat
DIY cockpit (wood)
