Busch Wins Second Truck Series

They said lightning doesnt strike twice. Well the people who said that probably never met Kyle Busch, one of NASCARs talented and young race car drivers, who added another win during the recent Craftsman Truck Series. Kyle Busch netted his second win after dispatching Ron Hornaday Jr. during the American Commercial Lines 200, which was held last Friday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. And it happened thanks to the great call made by his crew chief Richie Wauters.

During lap 112, Wauters called in Busch to the pit stop to change his tires since his truck was loose. This prompted the other race leaders, including Hornaday, to go to the pit stop one lap after. This left Busch, Chad McCumbee and Matt Crafton to fight for the top spot. Since the last two drivers failed to go to their respective pit stops and have their tires changed, Busch sped past the two to take the lead. Hornaday attempted to make a come back starting at lap 118 but failed to do so as Busch cruised decisively to victory during lap 127.

This marks Busch second win this year, making it a total of eight wins in the Craftsman Truck Series for the driver nicknamed Rowdy. Ron Hornaday Jr. came in second, Mike Skinner in third while Crafton, McCumbee, Jack Sprague, Ted Musgrave and Terry Cook rounded up the list.

So to those who said lightning doesnt strike twice, well, I bet Kyle Busch has gotten you thinking twice after the win he just pulled off.
