Best result ever: Mercedes-Benz shines in the AUTO BILD workshop test

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Four verdicts of "very good" and an average rating of "good" - that was the result achieved by Mercedes-Benz during the latest workshop test conducted by the major motoring magazine AUTO BILD. No previous test had produced such a positive result, which means that the Stuttgart brand scored the highest rating ever achieved in the history of AUTO BILD.

AUTO BILD has been conducting anonymous workshop tests using privately owned cars for the last 22 years, and applies particularly high quality standards when testing premium brands. The test establishes the extent to which eight workshops chosen at random are able to find and remedy seven intentional straightforward faults during a service inspection. The editorial staff also minutely scrutinise the quality of service provided by each outlet. During the most recent test, four of the Mercedes-Benz workshops achieved the highest score of "very good", with an individual mark of "satisfactory" only being scored once. "We have never had that before," AUTO BILD remarked. "Whereas several scores of "unsatisfactory" tend to be rule rather than the exception, Mercedes has achieved an overall average of "good".
This outstanding Mercedes-Benz performance in the workshop test is the result
of a long-term quality concept, intensive employee training in the service outlets, regular internal monitoring and concerted efforts in the area of customer satisfaction. As a visible result, the star also shines when a visit to the workshop is called for.
