FIA suspected of unfair treatment to McLaren

It is no secret the fact that Max Mosley, FIA president, is a good friend of Jean Todt, former director at Ferrari, and of course of Scuderia Ferrari itself. And it is also well known that Todt together with Mosley are not in good relations with Ron Dennis or Martin Whitmarsh. As a matter of fact, the latest penalties applied to McLaren drivers in France F1 GP were quite weird and unjustified. Even Mark Webber, the one supposed to have been misteriously blocked by Kovalainen during the Qualifying sessions, was a little confused, asking himself whether he was indeed blocked by another F1 driver, Bild reports. Moreover, Raikkonen got away with no penalty, although he entered the race with a damaged car that lost parts during the GP, which turned into dangerous debries for other drivers.

No one knows where the truth stands, but maybe it would be better for the Formula 1 to separate from FIA and become an independent auhority.
