IAA Commercial Vehicles 2010 � a virtual tour of the truck highlights from Mercedes-Benz

Daimler AG is presenting a whole host of innovations at this year's IAA Commercial Vehicles 2010 show starting on 23 September in Hanover. The company is already unveiling all of the truck highlights from Mercedes-Benz to a wide audience before the show even starts in a special online issue of the "Mercedes-Benz Transport" magazine. As such, prior to the official launch of the IAA, customers have the opportunity to examine the new generation of the Atego and Axor or view the first pictures of the Actros Limited Edition Black Liner und White Liner, limited to 500 vehicles. Both vehicles are celebrating their world premieres at the IAA and are also featured in exclusive screensavers available for internet users to download.



Impressive photos and video reports

Multimedia elements such as video reports, photo galleries and animated informative graphics provide descriptive insights into the advanced vehicle technologies of the brand with the star. For example, commercial vehicle aficionados can experience the new Active Brake Assist 2 in use and also find out more about the functionality of the enhanced Atego BlueTec Hybrid. The hybrid vehicle also proved that it more than a match for extreme conditions in the Development and Testing Centre (EVZ) in W�rth. In a video report, an engineer takes customers on a test drive and for the first time gives an account of the test results for the vehicle classed as the sustainable distribution professional. And that's not all: the latest video reports direct from Hanover as well as photos of all of the show vehicles will also be available from 23 September.
